Getting to
Palermo Cathedral
ARRIVE BY 11:45AM
As the Cathedral is one of Palermo's busiest landmarks, we recommend arriving a little early to allow time to locate the entrance and be seated. Taxis can drop you nearby, however a short walk may be required due to pedestrian-only streets.

GETTING THERE
Following the ceremony, there'll be time to return to your accommodation, freshen up or enjoy a little more of Palermo before the reception.
We'll be welcoming guests to Villa Tasca from 5:30pm, with aperitivo served from 6:00pm. Taxis and ride-share services are the easiest way to get there, with the journey from the city centre taking around 10–15 minutes.
GETTING HOME
At the end of the evening, the team at Villa Tasca will be happy to assist guests in
arranging taxis back to their accommodation.
As many guests may be leaving around the same time, we recommend having FREE NOW,
itTaxi, or Uber downloaded before your trip.

Dining

Palermo is a vibrant, walkable city, and getting around is generally very easy.

Getting Around the City
The easiest way to travel around Palermo is by taxi.
Before you arrive in Italy, we recommend downloading one of the local taxi apps:
- FREE NOW – Our top recommendation, allowing you to book and pay for licensed taxis directly through the app.
- itTaxi – Another reliable taxi booking app widely used throughout Italy.
- Uber – Uber is available in Palermo, however it generally connects you with
licensed taxis or premium services rather than the standard Uber experience you
may be used to.
FROM PALERMO AIRPORT
Falcone Borsellino Airport (PMO) is approximately
30–40 minutes from the city centre.
You can reach the city by:
- Taxi
- Private airport transfer
- Train to Palermo Centrale Station
- bus (Prestia e Comand)
